Samarth Yoga Darshan was founded in the year 2012 by Mrs.Sonal Joshi. We are offering yoga classes and therapy for all age groups and also for patients with different ailments. Our group of certified and well-experienced practitioners continuously works to create unique classes that will transform your mind, body and spirit in a way that helps you reach your personal goals of getting stronger inside out.
We undertake regular Yoga Classes in three batches starting from 6.30 am to 7.30 am, 7.30 am to 8.30 am. and evening batch from 5 pm to 6 pm, five days a week from Monday to Friday. We also undertake short duration of 7 to 15 days Specific Therapeutic Courses on various ailments, besides regular yoga practice classes. Since most of the diseases are stress related and Psychosomatic in nature, we give special attention to detoxify the body and mind by various techniques and therapies like
Sonal Joshi, the founder head of Samarth Yoga Darshan, was herself going through many ailments by the age of 50. When all the conventional medicinal therapies proved futile, as a last resort she turned to Yoga Therapy. Thus landing at S-VYSYA (Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana) Bangalore. Having got rid of almost all her ailments, through Yoga Therapy, she developed an ardent interest in Yoga and subsequently did her YIC (Yoga Instructors Course) and thereafter, Masters in Yoga Therapy, at the age of 56. Beholding her quick and complete recovery, her friends encouraged her to share her knowledge with them. Thus was born SAMARTH YOGA DARSHAN in the year 2012.
Besides Yoga, she took formal training in Mudra Therapy from the renowned Mudra expert Smt. Suman Chiplunkar, at Nashik. Her keen interest in alternative therapies took her to acquire formal training in Su-Jok and Auricoular Therapies. To augment the benefits of Yogasanas, she adopted the Iyengar system of Yoga (Usage of Props), to gain ultimate flexibility and posture perfection.
Sonal Joshi is very passionate about Bhakti aspect of Yoga. She heads a Bhajana group which regularly performs in various parts of the country. Sonal has conducted corporate programs on Yoga, Meditation, Pranayam and Stress Management at S.B.I, HSBC,etc., besides several schools like Global Public School, Dawn Public School, etc. She also conducts free camps and awareness programs on prevention and cure of common ailments like diabetes, arthritis and psychosomatic diseases. She is also a loving wife, a caring mother and a doting grandmother.
Yoga therapy is the adaptation of yoga practices for people with health challenges. We prescribe specific regimens of postures, breathing exercises, diet and relaxation techniques to suit individual needs.
Meditation is relaxation, the overall benefits of meditation include a calm mind, enhanced concentration, improved clarity and communication, and relaxation of the mind and body.
The course curriculum of Yoga contains various yogic postures or asanas. Also, the focus is laid on breathing techniques which play a vital role in mastering asanas.
